This was the second slowest century plus score of Sachin's career which costed India the match, the most slowest (SR:71) century plus score was against Sri Lanka in Sharjah 2000 where Sri Lanka Easily chased the total set by India in 43 overs. He also scored 14th century in defeats which is the highest percentage (30%) of centuries in defeats for any batsmen with 20 or more centuries in ODI. He has again proved why is he Sachin not Lara.
